Gordana Bilic, PhD is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering, University of Zagreb, Croatia. She holds a PhD in Technical Sciences (Engineering Chemistry) and has over fifteen years of experience in materials science and corrosion engineering.
Her research focuses on corrosion and corrosion protection of metals, with particular emphasis on green corrosion inhibitors, surface modification, and materials durability in aggressive environments. She has led several research projects and published extensively in high-impact journals in the fields of materials science, coatings, and energy-related materials.
Dr. Bilic is actively engaged in peer review and academic mentoring and brings strong experience in evaluating scientific quality and managing interdisciplinary research topics relevant to special issues in materials science.
