Dr. Simona CAPRARESCU is an Assistant professor (Lecturer) at the University “Politehnica” of Bucharest, Faculty of Applied Chemistry and Materials Science, Department of Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry and Electrochemistry, Romania. She received Ph.D. in Instrumentation and Analytical Science at University “Politehnica” of Bucharest, Faculty of Applied Chemistry and Materials Science, in 2010. She is the author or coauthor of more than 80 research papers; over 150 participation at National and International Conferences and Symposiums, two book chapters and a one co-authored book. Obtaining the award of scholarships for young PhD students in the final year of doctoral, participating at the NanoBioEurope Conference, Barcelona, Spain, 9-13 June 2008. Experience and interests in electrochemistry, electrochemical technology, analytical chemistry, environmental protection, corrosion and anticorrosion protection of structural metallic, polymer materials, transport and storage of electrical energy using electrochemical cells, renewable energy sources, hybrid films.
